Nahargarh Fort
The next stop is Nahargarh Fort, constructed in 1734 by Sawai Jai Singh II. This fort is known for its tactical significance. Constructed on a steep hill, its purpose was to defend the city from enemy attacks. The fort initially was known as Sudarshan Garh and later changed to Nahargarh because of Prince Nahar Singh’s death here.

The third fort of importance here is Jai Garh, built by Sawai Raja Jai Singh in 1726.
